A family session is created around your special connection to your children. It can take place at your home, or at an outdoor location of your choice, or both! I’m happy to suggest a spot but I prefer taking pictures in a place that is meaningful to you and where you enjoy spending time together as a family: a local playground, the street you live on or a beautiful spot along the Wissahickon...

When we first meet, we will set aside time to get to know each other and for your children to feel comfortable around me before I start taking pictures. The session will be all about your children and you, playing and interacting together, where you will be able to just be yourself. During our phone consultation we will discuss what some of your favorite family activities are and customize your session around them. I will document what you love doing together and capture genuine moments that you will remember for a lifetime.
A newborn session is designed around your baby and his environment. I will document your life at home with your new little one: cuddling on your bed, playing in the nursery, a sibling loving his new little brother or sister, maybe even a pet, curious about the new arrival.

I do not bring props or blankets. However, if you own special accessories that are meaningful to you, I’ll be more than happy to include them in pictures to reflect your family’s unique character.

Newborn sessions last longer than family sessions to allow for extra time in case your baby needs to be fed a little more or cuddled a little longer. Life with a newborn can be stressful and I always make sure that you do not feel rushed and are as relaxed as possible throughout the session.

This is the event kids look forward to all year. They count the months, weeks, days until their big day. While we would love for them to stay little forever, they just can't wait to get bigger. There are no birthdays more meaningful than the ones of our childhood.

This is a documentary style session. I will arrive before the party to take a portrait of your child and photograph the details of the cake and decorations you painstakingly put together. Then I will be like a "fly on the wall" capturing the story of this special day with your family and friends. My pictures will echo the smiles, games, excitement and joy of the celebration for years to come.
